Hand Poured Coconut & Apricot Candle
My Hand Poured Coconut & Apricot Candles
At Constance K, I believe in using only the best products for my customers. In a move away from petroleum-based paraffin waxes, that burn dirty, and soy waxes, which do not throw scent into the air efficiently, my blend of Coconut and Apricot waxes ensures a slow, clean burning candle that fills the room with my enchanting aromas. The candles burn at a lower temperature, allowing the therapeutic properties of my line of essential oil candles to remain intact. The fragrance oils used in my scented candles are phthalate free and are safe enough to use on the skin.

Candle Care
How to care for your Coconut & Apricot Hand Poured Candles
Coconut based candles are softer than conventional candles, so please do not attempt to move the candle while it is lit to avoid spillage. I use either 100% braided cotton wicks (no metal core) or wood wicks. Please trim the wick of the candle to no longer than 2-3 centimeters (just shy of a 1/4 inch) to avoid over-burning of the wax and a black smoke. If you choose to burn the candle for a long period of time, be sure to blow out the candle, trim the wick, and continue burning for optimal enjoyment. When trimming the candle wick, avoid letting the wick trimmings to collect in the melted wax pool.
The first time you light the candle, allow it to burn until the liquid wax covers the entire top of the candle. This breaking in process insures that it will perform better and more evenly throughout the life of the candle. This will insure a clean and efficient burning cycle for the life of the candle.
Warning: To prevent fire and serious injury:
Burn candle within sight. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
Keep away from drafts and vibrations. Trim wick to ¼ inch prior to lighting.
Please do not attempt to move the candle while lit.
